Your go-to guide for all things Greek dining in Raleigh, NC. From health options to our rooftop dining experience, we've answered your most common questions about reservations, menu options, events, and more.
Do I need a reservation, or do you accept walk-ins?
Reservations are highly recommended, especially for weekends, but we always welcome walk-ins. We do not accept reservations specifically for the rooftop since weather and private events affect seating availability. Reservations can be made here.
Is rooftop dining available year-round?
Yes! Our award-winning rooftop patio is open year-round and features both covered and uncovered seating options. During the cooler months, the rooftop is winterized and heated to continue to enjoy the space.
What type of cuisine do you serve?
We are an authentic Greek restaurant, serving traditional dishes made from scratch using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?
Yes! We offer a variety of dishes to accommodate dietary preferences and allergies. Please let your server know of any dietary needs.
Is there parking available nearby?
Yes, there is a convenient paid parking lot directly across the street from the restaurant, as well as a number of nearby parking garages within walking distance of the restaurant.
The three closest parking locations are the Hillsborough Street Parking Lot at 301 Hillsborough St., the McLaurin Parking Lot, located at 201 W Morgan St., the Edenton Parking Lot, located at 310 W. Edenton St.
Do you offer takeout or delivery?
Yes, we offer takeout and delivery through Doordash directly through our website with convenient online ordering. Click on the Order Online button at the top of the website to select your Delivery or To-Go preference.
Do you offer catering?
Yes, we offer catering through EZCater, or by calling the restaurant directly to place your >. We offer catering delivery through EZCater for orders over $100. For more information and to see our catering menu, visit tavernaagora.com/catering.
Do you have a kid's menu?
Yes! Taverna Agora is a family-friendly restaurant and we offer kid-friendly, and healthy menu options.
Do you have live music or entertainment?
We host a special event every First Friday of the month, our Greek Night, which features music, and belly dancing shows throughout our dining rooms from 7-9pm. We also host signature events throughout the year, for instance our "An Evening in Greece" rooftop 4-course dinner and entertainment. I am an entertainment provider. How can I pitch my services?
If you are a musician, trivia host, DJ, or similar and are interested in offering your services, please contact the restaurant directly.
Do you accommodate large parties or group reservations?
Yes, we welcome large parties! For groups of 6 or more, we recommend calling the restaurant directly for a reservation. If you are booking for a large group of 15 or more guests, a private dining request is preferred. You can reach the restaurant by calling, (919) 881-8333 to inquire about reserving for a large party.
Is your restaurant wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our main dining areas and restrooms are ADA-compliant and accessible.
Can I host a private event at Taverna Agora?
Absolutely. We have multiple flexible event spaces including a private dining room and rooftop garden patio perfect for bridal showers, corporate events, and more.
The rooftop can be reserved for both semi, and fully private events, weddings, or business functions, as well as our private first-floor OPA room. For larger events and celebrations, we can close the entire restaurant. Can I bring my own cake or wine for a celebration?
Outside desserts may be brought in, however they must be from a reputable licensed bakery. There is a $25 cake cutting fee if service from our staff is needed. A $25 corkage fee applies to each bottle of wine brought in for an event. Please call ahead for celebration-specific policies.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Gift cards can be purchased online or in-store and can be used at any LM Restaurants location. Values available are from $10 to $500 and can be shipped to your recipient. Gift cards can be purchased online here: https://www.tavernaagora.com/gift-cards.
