"Taverna Agora was highly rated on Trip Advisor so my wife and I decided to give it a try. The Greek Village Salad was fabulous. We ordered the yogurt and cucumber spread as an appetizer. This was an excellent choice! The flavor was unique and astounding. My wife and I ate all of it. For our meal we ordered the Pikilia Taygetos, as sampler of spinach pie, cheese pie and wrapped grape leaves. My wife cried as she ate the spinach pie because it reminded her of her grandma's cooking.Thank you Taverna Agora. Keep up the good work. We'll be back." - Anonymous, Trip Advisor

"The lamb shank was fantastic and my mom enjoyed the pork chops and my dad the ribeye.  My wife had the soft shell crab special, which she liked as well. No one had any complaints and we polished off the meal with the traditional baklava and the more updated baklava cheesecake - crazy good..  This is by far one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in Raleigh and look forward to visiting again."  - Perry H., yelp.com

"I cannot say enough about my experience at Taverna Agora. I had the pleasure of attending "Greek Night"...what an awesome experience. The live music and belly dancer were so engaging, it didn't take long for our entire party to be off our seats taking part in all the fun. Greek Night is a great idea for a Girl's Night Out or date night.  My only complaint is Greek night is only once a month.  You gotta have more!"  - Beth S.

"Despite its awkward location, its a great spot for date night. The food is excellent, the service descent and the prices are great for the quality and quantity of food you receive. "Delicious.  What you need more that that? I've only been to Taverna Agora once so far, but it was a great experience. Four out of four entrees were magnificent, and dessert was just as good. Our server was fantastic. This is one of the few restaurants I brought my visiting parents to and they both loved it to the last bite. I'll most definitely be back soon." - John D., Yelp.com
